Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE] · Queensland, Australia

Plain-language summary: A parent's contact and payment details are collected to process the purchase. A teen's workbook responses are collected to run the Program but are treated as personal to the teen and are not automatically shared with the parent — only a general summary of weekly themes is. We take extra care because this Program involves a minor's information.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Mark Anthony, trading as From Rogue To Riches ("we," "us"), collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information in connection with the From Rogue To Riches — For Teens program ("the Program").

Because the Program is designed for teens aged 13–17, we take additional care with how information relating to a minor is collected, used, and disclosed, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. Information We Collect

3. Parental Consent

Because the Program is intended for use by a minor, we rely on the purchasing parent or legal guardian to provide consent for the collection and use of the teen's information as described in this Policy, at the point of purchase.

A parent or guardian may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us, which will result in the Participant's access to the Program being suspended.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

  • process payment and provide access to the Program;
  • deliver a plain-language, theme-level summary of each week's content to the purchasing parent or guardian;
  • respond to support requests from the parent or guardian;
  • improve the Program's content and safety design over time; and
  • meet our legal, safeguarding, and record-keeping obligations.

5. What Stays Private to the Participant

The teen's individual written workbook responses are not automatically shared with the purchasing parent or guardian. We treat this material as personal to the Participant, in recognition of the fact that honest self-reflection depends on a reasonable expectation of privacy.

We will disclose a Participant's individual responses to a parent, guardian, or appropriate authority without the Participant's consent only where we reasonably believe there is a risk to the Participant's safety or the safety of another person, or where we are legally required to do so.

6. Data Storage and Security

Information is stored using reputable third-party platforms (including our course hosting and payment providers), which apply industry-standard security measures. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party providers to host our course platform, process payments, and send email communications. These providers may store information on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider applies privacy protections consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Program, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. A parent or guardian may request deletion of their and their teen's information, subject to any legal retention requirements.

9. Your Rights

A parent or guardian may, on behalf of the Participant, request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you believe we have not handled personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.
